As if Piers Morgan leaving Good Morning Britain wasn't enough... he's getting shows shut down overseas now.
"The Talk" which is a big show in American has been off the air for two days now.
Because co-host Sharon Osbourne publicly spoke out and defended Morgan which led to an on-air confrontation with fellow host Sheryl Underwood where she said Osbourne was giving validation to his racist views.
"Tell me when you have heard him say racist things. Educate me."
I feel like I'm about to be put in the electric chair because I have a friend who many people think is racist, so that makes me a racist.
"For me at 68 years of age to have to turn around and say, 'I ain't racist', what's it got to do with me? How can I be racist about anybody or anything in my life?"
This led to the showing basically being shut down and she has since issued an apology.
"anyone of colour that I offended and/or to anyone that feels confused, or let down by what I said". She added: "I panicked, felt blindsided, got defensive and allowed my fear and horror of being accused of being racist take over."
"That was so disturbing on so many levels," says Jemele Hill, reacting to "The Talk" co-host Sharon Osbourne's remarks about racism and her support for Piers Morgan after his controversial comments about Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex. https://t.co/FcaJxfFfMy pic.twitter.com/WyKBZc42pY
